Ideas and Pictures
Stunning centerpieces can cost upwards of $300 EACH. Which is beyond the reach of most brides on a budget.
But looking at gorgeous wedding table reception centerpieces like these can give you lots
of ideas on how to do things yourself.
Like the shape of a simple glass jar or the effect
of one piece of foliage on the whole centerpiece.
Look closely at wedding magazines and big name wedding websites like Martha Stewart's
for innovative ideas that are easy to do for yourself.
Like these simple white buckets filled with hydrangeas.
Stunning but cost effective as the pails double for table numbers. Great for a stylish informal wedding!
The numbers can be hand drawn or cheap transparent stickers can be purchased on line.
Wedding Reception Table Centerpieces
Here are some ideas to help you create stunning centerpieces:
Clever use of lighting can enhance the simplest display - see the
floating candle picture at the bottom of the page.
Go shopping in bargain basement homeware stores and look for glass tumblers and vases in
unusual shapes. Put a large colorful flower held in a foam flower holder (that retain moisture to keep flowers fresh),
add some colored sand and accessorize with cheap trailing ivy or something similar.
Think out of the box, so to speak, a little. You don't have to present your table decorations
in a traditional way. Why not use plain white shoeboxes (ask at your local shoestore - they throw them away anyway!) covered with metallic paper or tied
with metallic thread and lay a single rose on top - romantic yet very cheap!
Make use of the vast array of cheap accessories you can buy at wedding supply online stores.
Like the colored foam and sand at the bottom of the glass vase plus the gold wire used to enhance
the flower display in this unusual display.
