Cheap Wedding Decorations
Fabulous wedding decor for less
If you want to save money on table decorations, then the key is to keep it simple.
Avoid extravagant flower displays (expensive and they take up LOTS of room) and anything that will get in the way of your guests talking to each other.
The other main trick is to decorate your table with small items that don't cost a lot or that can be used aka EATEN or taken away as small gifts - think favors!
Wedding Table Decorations on a Budget
Here are some ideas for cheap table decorations that still look amazing:
Put a pile of edible wedding favors like colorful chocolate hearts or
personalized chocolate miniatures on a big plate in the middle of the table. You can buy them in large packs, so this is an economical option for a BIG wedding.
Buy some cheap colored small tin buckets from a garden center and place a single large flower like a hydrangea inside. It will have a stunning effect, perfect for a summer wedding.
Balloons are cheap and you can personalize them or use slightly more expensive metallic ones like you see at fair grounds. Just attach one or two firmly to a heavy weight in the middle of the table and surround the base with metallic confetti to hide it.
Use colored tea-lights in a small glass jar. Decorate the jars if you have time or again just scatter metallic confetti around the jars to spice up the table color.
Wedding Reception Table Decorations
The picture above shows how a simple display of balloons with curly ribbons and a few tea-lights can make the perfect display for an evening reception.
Remember that the guests at your wedding are there to celebrate with you and have fun and while expensive table decorations will create an initial impression, believe me it won't be the thing they remember afterwards.
It's better to spend some your wedding budget on ensuring your guests have a great time with good food and entertainment, so don't be afraid to plan cheap table decorations as simple ones can look just as effective and they won't break the bank!
