Get the best wedding photos
You won't miss that all important picture with our wedding photography tips

Whether you are using a professional photographer or a talented friend for your wedding pictures, read our
tips to get the best wedding photos:
-
Make a list of all the "must have" photos you want - see the checklist below for ideas.
-
Make sure there are some BIG umbrellas to hand in case of any rain on your big day.
-
Appoint someone with a loud voice to organise your guests outside the church/registry office so pictures can be taken quickly - it is usually
chaotic and you don't want to spend longer than you have to trying to hold that "smile" in place!
-
Brief your photographer well beforehand so that the essential photos are taken first and nobody
important is forgotten.
-
If you decide to use an "amateur" photographer, don't expect too much to be frank! It is NOT easy to
take professional wedding photographs not least because the timing has to be perfect and only professional
photographers with years of experience know how to get it just right.
That said, I have seen some truly dreadful wedding photos taken by so called professionals so another tip is
to ensure your chosen photographer has some form of liability insurance...so you can get some of your money
back if you are not satisfied.
Here are some suggestions for those "must have" photos...
Make sure you include a few funny snaps in your collection - these are the ones you will remember most!
