A beach wedding may have the actual ceremony on the beach or it may be held in a building close to the beach.

Either way, it's likely to be hot and the chances are you are both going to be walking on the sand at some point - so choose your type of beach wedding apparel carefully.

Casual Beach Wedding Attire

It's pretty straightforward for the bride - just choose an informal beach wedding dress. But what about the groom?

First keep the dress theme of both bride, groom and attendants in line. If the bride is wearing a cool fresh strappy dress, then a casual pair of shorts and cool cotton/linen shirt will do just fine for the groom.
On the other hand, if the wedding ceremony is planned to be a little more formal, then a cool linen suit may be preferable for the husband-to-be.
Beware of heavy wool or other bulky fabrics if planning to wear a suit - it wil be the most uncomfortable thing imaginable not to mention being impractical.
Instead have some fun and get kitted out in some truly tropical clothing that will make heads turn and everyone smile!
