Get Married for free in hotel grounds!

I was living in Hawaii on the Big Island (1980s) when I married my wife, Lin. We contacted a hotel, and they told us they had a garden arbor area just right for weddings. It was next to the ocean, beautifully landscaped...and free!

It was a wonderful wedding. Our friends took the photos.

We rented a hall cheap for the reception. My wife wore a dress that she could use again.

It was great! The best part is we are still loving each other...maybe in part because we did not have ANY debts from the wedding to start with?
