• Save money on your groceries - make a list of meals that you will prepare for the week and ONLY buy the ingredients that you need. Stick to it and avoid those "nice to have items" that you don't need plus avoid throwing away out of date food.

• Make your own cards and presents and save $$$'s! You don't have to be arty but "crafty" girls know how to make or print their own cards using kits forms or their PC and homemade gifts are SO much more personable than shop-bought items.

• Stop buying a daily coffee. If you add up the amount of money spent on expensive cups of coffee every day, you can save $100's if not $1,000''s of dollars depending on how much coffee you consume.

• Make your own lunch. Yes this is time consuming but once you get into the routine, it only takes a few minutes just before going to bed and a home made sandwich or salad is much healthier AND much cheaper.
