Cheap Wedding Accessories
Ideas to Save Money

Cheap wedding accessories don't have to look cheap. Don't get carried away with all the small
accessories that can be expensive if you don't control your budget.
What Bridal Accessories do you Need?
-
Essential items are some form of headwear - this may be a
wedding veil, a tiara, a simple headpiece or a smart piece of hair jewellery like a decorated comb.
-
Bridal jewellery, usually a necklace and matching earrings.
-
A wedding garter, often given, borrowed or begged as tradition goes!
-
Bridal shoes and a matching wedding purse.
And that's just for starters!
Many brides also want to wear gloves, carry a wedding favor in addition to flowers and, depending on
the time of year and wedding location, may need a shawl or shrug to keep them warm.
Moving on from the bride, there are then cufflinks for the groom plus a tie and
matching handkerchief and that's before even considering the wedding accessories required
for the bridesmaids and groom's attendants.
This is where the wedding budget is in danger of getting blown but there are plenty of ways to
keep costs down on those wedding accessories.
Inexpensive Wedding Accessories
Make bridal veils at home for just a few $$$'s for the material. If you stick to a simple short style and
choose a soft net or lace fabric that drapes well, most seamstresses will be able to make a veil at home or
simply ask a friend or relative.
Many bridal accessories like garters and jewellery are traditionally handed down from mother to daughter or given as gifts
by friends and other relatives. Whilst jewellery may not be up to modern standards of style and taste, there is
something extra special about wearing something old or borrowed.
If you do decide to buy cheap wedding accessories, search high and low online and buy all your accessories and favors together in one go.
This will command a greater discount - don't be afriad to ask for one either if you can't see a bulk
buy discount button on the screen!
